lack of an accessory 12v power lead?

I am installing a HU into my 2000 pontiac montana, I purchased a wire harness however the 12v acc pin in the wire harness lines up with an empty slot in the factory plug, Using a volt meter it seems that there is only the 12v constant line and not a 12v acc, what can i do about this as I know adding a constant would be simple but I cant think of how I could get around this problem.
thanks

Do you have a remote power antenna lead?

If so, check to see if it gives constant power while the ignition is in the acc, and on positions. If so, here's your new lead. (It was the pink wire in my 2000 blazer, and I don't know how similar the setup is, but thought I'd throw that in.)

How does the cigarette lighter work in the Montana? Is it always powered, or is it switched? Could be another possibility.

Are there any unused fuse positions which are getting power when the ignition is on? Could add a new fuse, and have yourself a new feed here as well.

If things really get bad, you can always buy an adapter that turns the speaker feed into a remote 12v source. Basically it's a relay that turns on when it receives a source from the speaker wire. (Would be my last option, as others above should be easier/more efficient.)

no power antenna, lighter is always powered, havent looked into the fuse thing yet sounds like a possable plan, good point about the lighter in general I would have never thought of using that feed. I know the montana has a pin on the harness for "computer data" which puts out a nominal signal when the key is in acc im thinking I might be able to rig somthing up using this feed and the 12v from the lighter with an SCR or similar circuit I'll have to look into how that would work if I dont find an other soulution.

Sometimes the wires will end up in the wrong position in the hrns. Have you tested all the wires in the hrns to see if there is one? Could possible be yellow since it is a gm car...
