I have a 15 Kicker L7 with a hifonics Bxi 1200d and when i turn it up really loud the headunit shuts down nd keeps doing it till i turn it down. Im pretty sure my batterys really low cause i had listened to it while not driving for a while. Do I need to just drive and let my battery charge?

WHen I said turned it up and down I meant the volume on the HU

you need to check the voltage of the battery while the system is jamming. This can be as simple as looking at your battery/volt gauge if you have one or you may need to get a volt meter and hook it up.

You might have severe voltage drops here to look at. It would be good to monitor the system voltage via the cigarette lighter port. If the voltage there drops to below 10.5 volts, the HU will shut down and your truck may not start/run properly either.

Yes, when the engine is running, the charging system will charge the battery too. An amp of this size can drain a BAT in short order w/o the ALT to charge it. It's not good for the amp or battery to push the Bass Engine this hard w/o the engine running.

Alright thanks. Driving with no music for a while will bring my battery back?

Yes!

If the charging system is working properly, the battery will come back to life and your other systems should be fine too.

You may need a jump to get the truck started if the battery is too depleted right now. Once the engine is running again, drive the truck around for a while and allow the battery to recharge to normal.
