i have recently installed 2 10'inch subs and a 1000wat 2 channel amp, and an 500k farad cap, but now i have too much base coming from stocked components. is there a way to make them play just audio and no base? please help i liker the base but i like the words too

are the subs drowning out the speakers and all u hear is bass???
try turning down the gain a little bit on the amp

ty but i just text my friend and asked him, he told me wat to do and it worked. im not a person who knows stereos so i told him i have my subs hooked up and i want to be able to play alot of bass and sound so he said turn up the treble, and mid so i did and i got the music good, but i still wanted more bass then i found a little knob my amp and i fooled around with it and got the bass bumbed. problem soloved ty man. tho for trying. ty
