Well I'm using a piece of PVC that is 5" in diameter, and I was wondering how to attatch it to the box?

I would personally use plenty o carefully applied gorilla glue.....

Yep, Gorilla Glue or a fast cure, 2 part epoxy will do the job nicely.
If you have gaps from the hole cutting tool, after the glue sets, fill the gaps with silicone type (RTV) sealant.

get the correct size hole saw and you will have a tight fit between the box and port and you will only need small amount of glue to get it to hold. What length are you using to get what freq?

I was gonna make it 4" to get a 34 hz freq.
