i just picked up a crossfire cfa-602 amp off ebay, for $70 shipped. it was for the right price i think. i was going to pick this up no matter what it would cost me. i will put a link below, what i have found out is that the cfa series amps where all white but they made a special run of chrome ones. 1000 to be exact. 500 of 4 chanels(have one already) and 500 of the 602's. i got my 4 chanel yrs back as a NOS off ebay for 150 i think. in all this time i look on ebay alot (well thats what my friends say) i have only seen 3 chrome cfa amps. now i own 2 of them(if he sends it to me). this amp is missing some of the connetion screws, like power one and a speaker one. what i want to know is where can i get some of those screws ? i was thinking of calling crossfire but if i can get them at the hardwear store for cheaper it would be great? what are these screws called? link : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=280272290243 even though its starting to get cooler out i will try to post up pic's of my matching amps when i get the 602 in !!!! i have been looking for a long time to find a amp to match my other chrome cfa thanks guys, chris Replies (1) swez on 10/5/2008 01:09:56 Hum, I would take a screw out when you get the amp and head to the hardware store to find a full set that matches. You'll have to determine the proper thread pitch and length of the screws needed and if possible, used machine type Hex bolts as they have no caps or just a slight knurled top. In most cases, you'll find them in black, but Stainless Steel would be even better or just paint the black ones. Comments? Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
