so yesterday while turning on my car i noticed that my back speakers the 6.5 were making a buzzing noise that was real annoying so i took em out to make sure that they were wired right and they were so i turned on my HU again and it still kept making the buzzing noise and i turned it up loud and my HU turned off i dont know why does any one know whats causing that noise? Replies (1) swez on 08/26/2008 03:25:12 It might be a good idea to remove the HU and bench test it off a 12 volt car battery as your power supply. This will tell you if the HU has internal problems in the rear channels or if there is a poor ground issues in the system. You'll need a few known good test speakers and use the CD as a source. (AM/FM will not work w/o antenna) FYI: My guess is there are a few power supply filter issues inside the HU that have gone bad.
