In this case, you'll need to remove the factory HU and install a "Line Out Converter" (LOC) device. They come in 2 or 4 channel models and tap off the HU speaker outputs and give 2-4 RCA connections for outboad amp use.

It's pretty easy to ID the speaker lines off the HU harness as they are paired and color coded. In most GM stock units, the wiring codes and pin outs for each wire are stamped into the rear casing. You'll be looking for RF, LF, RR & LR speaker pairs. The Solid color is + to speaker and the black line pair is the - return for each speaker line.

The stock speakers in this car show 5.25" rounds in front and rear. The fronts probably have tweeters, but the rear may not. The stock speakers here are cheap and very low power. (15-20 watts) Depending on the amp you choose, you may need to upgrade interior speakers to handle more power and sound a lot better too.

Finally, if you have any thoughts of adding a subwoofer system later, be sure the 4 channel amp you buy has additional RCA pass through outputs for a sub amp.
