Hey i have a crunch pzi 1500 d mono block amp, powering 2 audiobahn aw1251t's, they bump real hard for a while but then they kick out, the amp remains running, i felt both the amp and the subs magnets and they were both very hot, i have them wired in parallel + to + To + then - to - To - and the same for the other sub, any help please let me know, the subs are 4ohm's dvc, and when i had them wired in series they are not loud at all??? thanks

Yep, I'll bet this amp gets very hot when you're bumping it hard.

The way I read your wiring of subs to this amp, the amp is seeing a 1 ohm load. It's not rated for 1 ohm loads, heats up and the thermal circuits shut the amp down until it cools. It's a credit to Crunch that this amp has survived under those conditions.

What is really needed here, is a 1 ohm stable Class D amp. The Crunch is a Class A/B MONO amp to power the Bahn subs. These subs are rated at 400 watts RMS each.

For now, dial back on the gain adjustment control on this amp so it will not shut off. If you can find a home for this amp and break even or a slight loss, invest in a Class D amp that is rated at 800-1000 watts RMS into a 1 ohm load. Your subs will like that and so will the amp.
