(As you know now, they do not) Sorry to be so blunt, but them's da facts and those who have been in this game a while, don't even look at peak power numbers. We look at RMS or "Continous Power" specs for the real details. Look at the fuses on this amp and the power cable/ground connects. They should be #4 gage power lines at the very minimum. Even that is too small. As for power ratings, if this amp is bridged MONO, it might deliver about 1200 watts RMS to a 4 ohm sub. However, it's a 2 channel, Class A/B amp too. This type of amp wastes a lot of power due to heat. Class A/B amps are ~60% efficient. They lose 40% of power consumed to heat. If not fused to ~200 A's, this amp is not even close to stated power. Read this series of posts and treads. They seem to have a few right-minded people answering the guy's questions. http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/4/371075.html In a nutshell, one get what we pay for. Branded names are more honest as they know the consumers are shelling out more $$$ and expect more than vanilla ice cream. Finally, I'm not saying all Lanzar products are trash. The older series Opti-Drives were solid amps in their day. However, always remember this... "Figures don't lie... but liars can figure". That may well be the issue you are dealing with now.
