jbl 600.1 or kicker kx600.1 jbl 600+ at 1 or 2 ohm load, kx 600-600+ at 2 ohm and 300 at 4ohms. is it dual 4 or 2? for the price id recommend jbl, i have the same subs and i have 2 kx 600.1s very happy, really loud, good luck

The Kicker KX600.1 is only rated for 2 ohms. If you need a 1 ohm load amp, JBL 600.1 will do 600 watts RMS at 1 or 2 ohm loads.

Have a look here:

Are your subs sealed or ported?

The other option is to use a 2 channel amp bridged and run the subs @ 4 ohms net load. This is safe for all Class A/B type amps.

How many watts RMS does each sub take? I see 400 RMS on the Comp VR 12's (4+4) DVC and 300 RMS on the 10" version.

I have one 15 in a sealed box

Right now I have a legacy amp briged at 4 ohm on it but Its not powerfull enough, and im not sure but wouldnt it wind up being more expensive for me to get a 2 chanel amp thats going to be like 1200 watts at 2 ohm to put out 600 watts at 4 ohm as oposed to one like that jbl600.1

Yes, 2 channel amps are generally more expensive as they have more circuits and such.

In you case, I think the 15" is rated at 500 RMS and the JBL 600.1 is a good choice for your sub... either the 2+2 or 4+4 ohm version. Just wire both VC's in parallel and feed to amp... good to go. Just know that the JBL has a bit more power than the sub can take continously.. dialing back on the amp gain will solve that issue.

Good match in all!
