Give the full low down on what exactly you are runnning and the type of vehicle it's in. It's possible it could be engine whine, panel vibration, tinsel lead slapping the cone, debris on the cone or in the coil, or a scrubbing coil (damaged).

Does it do it with the car off and the ignition in the acc position as well?

Say more and maybe someone can further diagnose what's the problem.

JBL 6x9 300w, fli 900 watt 4 channel amp, 1200w 10" kenwood sub, 1.6i 16v escort. it happens all the time even when car off but still playin music.

A "known good" test speaker might be helpful here to determine if the hum is from the the amp or there's a mechanical problem in that speaker/mounting situation.

If you hear the noise in the test speaker, it's an electrical/signal problem.

If there is no noise in the test speaker, then the exsisting speaker needs to be removed and have a closer look.
