...hi fellaz...hailing in from Hampton,VA and have a couple of questions for ANYone willing to steer me in the right direction...I have a 2006 Dodge Magnum and so far I've purchased a Directed 4500 amp to power 3 JL 8w3's in a sealed box, a Sony X-plod (600w) amplifier to power a Kenwood XXV-01D HU and Infinity Reference 6020CS 6.5" Component speakers, and a Tsnumai 1.2 Farad Capacitor 4/8 Gauge Dual Amp kit to bind it all together....firstly, I'm looking for CLARITY...everyone I talked to suggested two 8"s or one 10" by JL and Infinity Reference components...the amps just fell into my lap - would be able to puchase replaceables if the system requires it...my question - too much, too little, and do I need an equalizer for maximum clarity (had my eye on a Cadence 7 band), or is the 5 band equipped w/the HU enough?...I'm not an audiophile, and I'm gonna have to do LOT of reading to maximize the options on the Kenwood; I just want to FEEL it when Sade and Alicia Keys hit those soulful highs.....which is where you guys, or girls (equality,yanno) come in...thanks in advance, ANY help will be appreciated.
