I just got a pair of Diamond Audio M66.1 componet speaker's and on the crossover it's got a place for input, a place for the woofer, a place for the tweeter's, and then it's got a place that says (RAF). What's that for and what goes there? Replies (1) Ash on 04/6/2008 18:48:27 That crossover is designed for total system control by way of control rear fill as well. Assuming you have the speakers reccommended by Diamond (coaxes or midbass probably), you would run them off of that output into the back doors, deck, etc. It is designed to attenuate (lower the volume) the backs so the front stage is not lost. A very nifty design if proper components are selected and the right amp is used as it seems you will only need a two channel amp to run all but subs. But before trying it I would probably stick to the speakers Diamond recommends to insure no damage to the gear will happen. Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
