Hi everyone and thanks for your help & advice.
Now the system i am building is as listed below:

* KENWOOD HEADUNIT 4x50WATTS
* 2x KENWOOD KPX-F801 PASSIVE CROSSOVERS (peak power 450 watts, crossover frequency 500Hz,5kHz, impedence 4
* CAR PC audio output connected to the headunit aux input
* 1x PROFITEXX 3.0 FARAD POWER CAP

Nothing is connected yet as i still need to buy the amp (my ones are old) which i am thinking to get from THELOUDEST.COM which is 1500watts rms.
Also i need to upgrade the speakers (x4) and specially the tweeters.

So basicillay i need you guys to plan a system that when i go to car shows, i am not left behind even if am not the first.
The tweeters are the biggest issue.

Thanks mates

Having a tough time getting any good details on these crossovers. Noted they are passive 3-way units that crossover at 500 and 5000 Hz and have a phase switch for the tweeter/midrange and there is a tweeter protection circuit as well.

The filter slopes are -12dB for the mids and -6 dB for the tweeters. Other than that, no additional details I can find, even off Kenwood USA main products page. (No manuals for this UK model in the US database)

OK, let's take it from the basics here and try to hammer out a plan of attack here. That means breaking things down to a component level of HU, amplifiers, speakers and possibly a subwoofer system as well.

Try to be clear and realistic about the goals here. Some thoughts to ponder would be:

1. Mid and tweeter is front door stage install
2. Rear doors or parcel deck for midbass speakers
3. Subwoofer in the trunk if you wish

A solid 4 channel amp would cover all duties well (75-100 RMS x 4 @ 4 ohms per channel)

a. Front and Rear speakers powered off the front amp channels
b. Subwoofer can be powered off rear amp channels

The other option is a strong 2 channel amp for the MB/MR?TW system and a Class D Mono amp for the Bass Engine.

Pick the method you would like to explore deeper and keep in mind that larger amps will require expensive/extensive electrical upgrade as well.

PS If this is the car you have now... "don't drive like my brother"! The video clip below is not just a tribute to the handling skills of the 15 year-old driver, but also the danger he poses to others on the road and the policeman that was in hot pursuit. (125 -150 MPH is not a video game toy) Watch this clip and enjoy the pursuit from the cop-cam. Crazy
