those subwoofers are single 4ohm, so your going to want an amp that does about 600watts rms @2ohm

JBL and infinity are both good solid budget woofers that are efficient and if treated properly will last a long time.

IF you want to amp the 6b9s a small 2ch class A/B amp will work fine. some larger questions to look into- what other speakers are you running other that the 6b9s? if so do you want them amped as well? do you want Loudness (spl) or a Quality Tone? (SQ)

with 6-7 hundred watts of power you can easily support this system with a good deep cycle battery under the hood and a quality "Big 3" upgrade

Thanks very much Drew

The only other speakers i am goin to run are the four already installed in my car 5.25'' but i think i might disconnect the back two if i have 6x9s in the back. Not sure weather to buy some quilty ones and if i did i would want to amp them aswell. I am lookin for Loundness (slp).

Another question what am i lookin for in an amp kit am not sure on what AWG (not even sure what it means am all new to this!) etc!

Thanks again

Joe

two options i can foresee here, ditch the rear fill 4"s and replace them with the 6b9s and amp all four speakers, or add the 6b9s AND another component set in the front and run 8speakers off a 4ch amp. if you want just pure loud then this is an option. the downside to running this is 1) your going to lose your imaging and SQ control will drop 2)you have to have an amp that will push 8 speakers instead.

what is your budget (in $ preferably) for the Amp(s) and speakers?
also, what car is it going into?

that is a toxic amp.... those 400watts or 1600watts is the max power.

for real this amp should produce something around 75wrms x 4 @ 4 ohms ....

newB, you may want to revise your reply....

you are correct ;-)
