i bought used peugeot c/d radio it works fine but when i turn off ignition it looses code and i have to recode it can you tell me if this is a fault in the unit or prob with car and is there a easy fix Replies (3) cplkittle on 02/20/2008 11:14:50 Most of the time that means that the memory wire does not have power. I'll bet it loses the FM preset stations as well. Is this the factory radio or an aftermarket one? ben0201 on 02/20/2008 13:31:38 yes it looses preset stations and code .its a used peugeot/citreon c/d radio and i am not sure if its a fault in unit or car,i would be greateful for your opinion.it is fitted into a 98 peugeot 106 cplkittle on 02/20/2008 17:36:02 I would check the fuses first. I tried to find some wiring information, but all I could find was a 405, 505, and 406. In all cases over half the wires in the radio harness were blue, it will be difficult to troubleshoot further. See if you can find a bad fuse first, and we will go from there. Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
