OK, I know nothing about what im talking about, so ill do my best to use the most proper terminology, while refraining from making up words. I have a 2007 Chevy Aveo, after my previous Aveo got totaled I pulled all the wires-etc. Im trying to install my JVC KD-AR370 head unit. One of my friends cut my harness from the car, so im being forced to harwire it. I still had the harness so I managed to hook up the 8 speaker wires, and attempted to do the rest, but it still will not work for me. while i was getting all my ****, besides the system out of my old Aveo, I did turn the system back on and it still worked at that point. regardless im not sure which wires from the car to hook the (yellow)battery, (red) accessory, and (blue w/ white line) remote to. also i do not know where the illumination pos, or negative from the car go to on the wires to the head unit go. could my headunit have "died" in the 6 months it wasnt in a vehicle, and could anyone help me figure out what im doing wrong if thats not the case. I would appreciate the help greatly. If I wasnt clear enough for you to understand please send a responce asking me where clarification is needed. thnks!
