RCA Connections

Hey y'all...quick question

I drew a diagram to help figure out my dilemma:

I have an MP3 that needs a RCA hookup, as well as running my subs at the same time, which requires an RCA hookup. My HU only has a White and Red RCA hookup.

Question: What would I need to buy in order to run both my subs AND my MP3 player using my HU?

Does the white connection no my HU require a Y RCA splitter that has both white, or can the spliter go to a white and a red?
Same goes for the red on the HU..

Hope this isn't too confusing for a simple question...

Thanks
-Steve

Y splitter Cable "A" and "B" are what I need to buy. Obvious it has to be a male to a 2 female split. But, I'm unsure as to if the 2 female splits should be both red and both white.....or can they be red and white together(i can only find these)?

It would be great if you could link me to an Ebay auction that has what I need....they seem to have it all for a reasonable price!

Splitters should not even put two different colors on the ends. It dosen't matter what the splitter end colors are, it matters what color the RCA jack you plug into is.
White is Left channel
Red is Right channel

The RCA jacks on the back of your stereo are OUTPUTS. They go to the sub amplifiers.

The MP3 needs an INPUT to get the sound into the stereo so that it can be processed and distributed to the speakers in the car via the stereo. You can not use the subwoofer outputs as an input.

You need an FM modulator or another form of input for the MP3 player. What is the model number of the CD player you are using?

Blaupunkt Key West CD169

I checked the manuel and it only has an OUTput and no INput...

I have an F.M. transmitter that goes into the lighter but I want something that is much more clear.

I guess i just would need a new HU in order to connect my MP3 player because i don't have an input
