As the title says, I'm looking for a Head Unit that my girlfriend can buy me for christmas. I'm looking for something that is HD radio capable and also has 4v preouts, but It can't be an outrageous amount of money either(like under $250). I don't really know where to look anymore. Any tips in where to look would be appreciated as well. I can do my own research, I just don't want to spend hours looking for something that i could find in 20 minutes GRIN. Thanks -Derek Replies (3) Grdevs24zero on 11/21/2007 18:45:59 I buy all my audio stuff from www.onlinecarstereo.com and www.woofersetc.com. The first usually has the best prices on anything they have, although they don't carry near the inventory as the second. Free shipping on any item over $99 I think. The items were here very well packaged and in a shorter amount of time than I paid for. Woofersetc also has the best customer service I've found in any buisness (audio, electronics, car parts, etc.) Woofers doesn't seem to stock the really high end stuff, my Polk SR6500's for example. They had to order them after I had "bought" them. They advised me of the situation and supplied me with enough Dynamat to covor both doors to make up for the time delay. Well packaged, but I'm the type of guy that doesn't want "Polk SR Series" advertised for every thief in the world to see while the box was in transit to me. Definately doing buisness with them again. There are of course other places, like Crutchfielld (I buy my box-building items from them) to name one, but I've found two places that I like dealing with and I'm sticking to them. Wish I could find some like that for my car parts. xplicitblitzboi on 11/22/2007 01:41:10 thanks for the help. I ended up finding one on crutchfield since the specs are easily available in the description. then i took the model number from crutchfield and typed it in at onlinecarstereo.com. $164 with free shipping :) 4v preouts and HD radio compatible. She's going to buy me the HU and i'll buy the HD radio unit http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17994 Kenwood KDC-X591 thanks!
