Dang... I hope he does come back. He's been the "Come-back Kid" before and I know he can do it again. (Yeah, me too)
It's funny how a person can resonate with another man's music and views on life so much. "Two out of Three Ain't Bad" and "I Won't Do That" are personal favs. The other hit I really like... "Life is a Lemon" and I want my money back.
"What about your.... It's defective and you can shove it up your..." Yeah, that has been a persoanl theme song for many years. But like Marvin, I too am a Come Back Kid. (The question... come back to what?)
Look at Mar's photo in large view mode, look at his eyes and expression.... what do they say to the casual observer and/or the deep searcher? One eye is wide open with anticipation. The other is squinted with the experience of a skeptic. The wry smile says something too. (BTDT... gonna try something new next time)
I see determination, optimism, irony and maybe a ray of hope.
It's not what happens to a person in life that matters. But rather... how we determine to fight back and come out on top and finish strong. Marv is the epitome of a Come Back Kid !!! I'm pulling for him. (Just as I'm pulling for my own turn-around)

I was on a bowling league when I was just a little tyke. I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere, the music, the noise etc.. There was only one thing I didn't like about the whole experience.. that dang Mickey song. They played it over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Seriously, it was every 3rd or 4th song.
Toni Basil ruined a childhood memory for me. 1982 is when it was released, that would have made me 6 years old.
Now that song is stuck in my head again... Thanks Mr. B.
