OT: Am thinking of a new name

Well folks, after having a difficult name for most people to pronounce for over 50 years, am thinking of a change. (For a lot of reasons) Fresh start for one? Easier pronunciation for business reasons for #2.

As of now, my name is David Paul Swezene. (Swez-en-ee) For ease of use, chopped it to Swez-knee. (Or here... Swez) Now, am thinking it may be time for a new last name change for a number of reasons.

Any suggestions? (David Paul ???) This sir name is Czeckoslovokian in origin and was originally Svezene. (Schev-en-ee) It means "man of great kindness" in Czech.. or so I was told)

What say ya'll? COFFEE
Swez

PS How 'bout Albright or Fenwick? Has a nice ring to it huh? (David Paul Albright or D.P. Fenwick) WT Hey... what's in a name anyway?

You should change it to the "SWEZINATOR", and start speaking like AHRnold all the time........

Alexandr (Czech for 'defender of mankind')
Blazej (Czech for 'talks with lisp')
Dalek (czech for 'distant battle)
Dominik (Czech for 'belongs to the Lord')

I personally like Trunk's idea of using Swez as your first name and adding a cool last name like Swez Dalek.

here is a website of Czech names:

I personally think you should keep your name....its not thaat hard....and for ppl who are worth it...they will take time to learn it....i mean...David Paul Swezene is pretty cool.....If you think people have trouble with that...think about my name:

Gaurav Sandha

But hey...i like the uniqueness of it...sets me apart from others.

Ya know, i don't normally chime in on these things, but in an effort to assist an old colleague with his identity crisis, here's a few you could use:

Yeahma Duchenbagger
Ivanta Pisadat
Pidazz, Stu (in the phonebook)
Cuba Sugar
Rahber Thingy
Aural Sax
Booger, Flicka
Nice Ascot
Ghan Arena

PS perhaps you could spell it Swezanee? Pragmatists to the rescue!

This is good guys... I appreciate the comments, thoughts and originality has its place. For now, I'll just edit my Biz card to Dave Swez and most get it well enough. (Or... "The Book Guy" works OK too.

Maybe it's just a matter of ease? (Perhaps it would be fine to care not what others call us, but just that they do call when they need our help?)

Swez

PS BB, your comments are well taken. In this job, I think the best name would be more like... "Hisazz Mus Bedrangon". He's from our Shameless Commerce Division. LOL

that or changing the e to an a, then putting it on the end

Swezene
Swezanee

of course, it would be too close to chimpanzee...which is your alter ego
