you may be better off buying a whole new sub.... what caused you to blow this sub? what kind of amp are you using? model #'s would be most helpful to help determine the cause. meanwhile heres a link to a new sub

Wow, that site listed has quiet the product hype huh? It makes an OK sub read like it's the best product under the sun.

1. "amazing power of 800 watts." (Not... 400 watts continous)
2. "always used the most expensive materials to manufacture their items." (Not... if they did, the sub would cost $300.00)
3. "without any distortion what so ever." (Not... it all depends on how knowledgeble the user is when they install it)

What a bunch of hog wash! The fine print info below the hype is what really matters.

Give me a break,

PS Yes, replacing the sub is your only real option. Recones are too expensive for a sub of this price range. (Recones are about $80.00)
The better question to figure out, what cause the original one to fail so that it is not repeated again?

yea they really hyped this stuff on the site ...i was just linking him to a place to get a replacement for his sub...

i notice a lot of over-hype and over-price on craigs list .....makes me wanna post links on there with the real price and specs on some of the equip that is sold on there...

That's one of the reasons this site is so helpful. We don't sell anything, have no need to hype things and try our best to provide useful, timely and understandable product info.

Personal reflections: Hum, there was a time in my career path where "Marketing" seemed like a good option to pursue. Now that I see how too many Marketing firms do their jobs, don't want anything to do with that part of biz. (It's a bunch of nonsense... read as a "Pack of lies and deceptions")

What amp are you using for the Bass Engine here? Knowing that and the enclosure details, we can suggest a few sub options that would be more suited to your needs.

May I suggest you sit down, make a plan of attack and list all gear you now have at hand? (Full make and model numbers woul be very helpful)

Knowing this and a general budget and end point, we can work back from the end goal and save you some "Bad Pizza" in the process.
