My new installation is almost at an end. Thanks for all the help so far. My last question is regarding the Sub. I was thinking about purchasing a new one but then I realized I have a perfectly good sub from my old car that I sold. The problem is I am curious if it was ever set up correctly in my old car since I installed it myself. I also no longer have the manual for the sub so I am not sure what model it is. I know that it is an SAS Bazooka and it measures 8". Other than that it has no identifying labels anywhere. I had it paired up with a Profile A200xl amp which I also still have. I am curious if I should just use this same combo in my new car or if maybe I should get a better amp for this sub. It is hard to tell anything for sure since I can't figure out the model number on the sub. Any suggestions? This is what I have in the car so far: Stereo: JVC KD G830 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9049_JVC+KD-G830.html Ordered but not installed yet: Polk 6x9"s in the rear deck http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Bmev1c8X9wZ/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=400&I=107DB690 Polk Component 5 1/4"s + 1" Tweeters in the front http://www.crutchfield.com/S-n51GqLKj5ej/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=410&I=107DB5250 Replies (3) trunkisloud on 09/15/2007 23:48:10 is this a marine sub?? can you give little more info on this model?? and if its only an 8" you may wanna upgrade .... wwatty on 09/16/2007 02:20:53 Here are pictures of the sub. It is an SAS Bazooka. Thats all it says on it. http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/6324/bazooka001qv9.jpg http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/200/bazooka002zl5.jpg http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/1766/bazooka003ee6.jpg http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/2859/bazooka004lo1.jpg I was hoping to save some costs and just use what I have for now which is this 8" sub and the 200 watt amp, then upgrade later. I was curious about the pairing though and if anyone could identify the sub. Thanks swez on 09/16/2007 05:11:15 Why not try it for now. This won't overpower your HU driven speakers and will provide some degree of bass too. Just a minor install for now is a good step until cash flow improves.
