SI Mag enclosure

Somehow I may have deleted original post editing some pics. Anyway, today I was able to complete the construction of the enclosure and finally wrap things up. After a dry fit and definatelly overdoing it with screws I found minimal air gaps where panels came together. I secured baffle and top piece with a heavy bead of silicone topped with a generous amount of glue and many 1/12" deck screws. The result is a very sturdy but MESSY final construction.

After the panels were secured I sealed internal and external seams with silicone and smoothed out things a little bit.

Tomorrow the sub will go in to it's new home for a test run. I'm hoping 12awg speaker wire will suffice to wire sub and amp. Would you guys reccomend only giving the sub 500rms (31.5 ) volts for break in period or give it the 1000rms(62) volts and keep volume at a minimum for breakin period (10-15hrs listening time?) I'll let you guys know if the sub is happy or some mods need to be made to possibly reduce airspace in this box. More tomorrow.
