Here's a short video clip from Elemental Designs on how to effectively ground amplifier cables. It's simple, easy to do and very effective:

This is a very good method to employ when we have other wiring to feed into the trunk or rear hatch on SUV's and hatchbacks too. A Dremel tool is nice, but can be done equally well with #100 grit sandpaper as well.
Tech tip: Note the type of screws he used. These are self-tapping sheet metal screws with large collared heads. These are common in hardware and autoparts stores and they need only be 1/2" long to be effective.
