Hey guys, (Today's the day)

One of our long-term, front-line soldiers on the CK team is having a surgical procedure on Thrusday 9/6/07 at 7:00 AM. (DMT) He's been having gastro-intestinal problems for some time and now a doc has a plan to correct it. (We hope)

For those who understand the power of prayer and healing, I ask that we pray for the skills of the surgeon, success of this procedure and a speedy recovery for Scott.

He's been through a lot of pain and discomfort for a long time and I feel called to ask you guys to pray for his full recovery and return to a normal life. Those who understand the power of prayer, will know the drill. Let's pray for a positive report on this one and that Scott gets his body back to full working order again.

Need a blessing? Be a blessing to others!

thanks guys, it honestly means alot and brings a little bit of a strange water under my eye(don't tell or I will kick yer butt!)

They called today to get some of the questions out of the way although I am sure they will give them to me again tomorrow. yes I still have my own heart, no I have low blood pressure not high, I prefer red heads over blonds but will settle, and no I have not died recently that I can remember..... They told me today to expect a 2 day stay which I have to say bothers me a bit as I thought that even hip and heart replacements were a same day thing. Mom arrived a couple days ago and already has the chicken soup on the stove.

Hey man, good luck, and you will be in my prayers as well.

Good luck on your surgery, and hope you get a cute redhead nurse too!

ttocs on 09/6/2007 18:04:05
screw the nurse(MAYBE!) my surgon is not all that bad lookin and she AIN'T sportin a ring. I am aiming higher as I don't know that my taste in audio equipment could be supported by a nurses income but I think a surgon could swing it.....

SQLThump on 09/6/2007 18:07:25
A fine surgeon? Nice! Every time I have ever had surgery, I ended up with some creepy lookin' old dude. Thats where the nurses come into play...

But no ring, high salary, sounds like she could be a nice target to put in the crosshairs........

Gotta have faith in the "man upstairs" to pull ya through man. Whatever he decides is in his plans for all and we gotta respect that no matter the outcome. Our job is to interpret the message that he sends, and do the job that he has put forth for us to do. Do it to the fullest just as it were yourself asking.

There is no need for worry!

well fella's thanks again but I am done for the night and probably will not be back on here till I return... Mayo is a pretty tech savy place and with what they are billin my ins you would hope it comes with internet but I am not holding my breath there.

I have a bunch of mp3's on my phone, some magazines to read, and a bottle of cologn for the cuteys regardless of income.....

c-ya..........

Hey man

That strange water under your eyes is old age leaking out. If you rub that tonic on your head, it'll bring back a few of the hairs you've lost to your wrestling match with father time.

Take care buddy, and hopefully you turn out A-OK.

PS Over at Rochester Mayonnaise they treat world leaders, royalty, and a lot of hard cases with money. Your operation should be a breeze compared to removing that bug up the Queen's butt. :-P

so, good new bad news.........

good news is that they did the eploratory surgery and they did not find anything wrong. The bad news is that they did not FIND ANYTHING WRONG.........

This was honestly my worst nightmare, I had been dreading it all week. So I am home now again with a few new scars. mom has the chicken soup on the stove.......

Scott,

That is really a surprise report mang. Have you been on any regular dosages of antibiotics over the past few years? If so, did you note more gastric problems later that just seemed to get worse with time?

I ask this as antibiotics kill all good and bad bacteria, (Infections) in the body along with the good bateria in the gut to colon. When the good bacteria is killed off, our immune systems are compromized for a while, until we rebuild the needed bacteria like lactobacillus, bifidus, acidophilus and many other friendly and needful bacteria strains.

It's a complex system of checks and balances and our bodies can get out of balance when stressed, illness, poor quality American diets and and other events invade a normally healthy body.

I am not up on all of these variables by any means, but if all else has failed, it may be a good idea to look into natural herbs and non-processed food options. Most Doctors use pharma-drugs to treat symtoms. (That's all they were taught) However, a health food Herbalist may be a very good resource for what you are suffering. It takes time to learn this type of science, but it could be a good place to look next.

No, am not a health nut, but do listen to several health related radio programs and they have a wealth of knowledge about such disease states. It might be part of the keys to your needs both now and later.

PS Am glad you are back home and no bad news came of it all. There is an answer to this illness, but it may not be found in traditional medicine resources.

I am very intrigued as to why noone can find anything wrong with your system. Heck, most of us have 15 different doctors finding faults with us...you think you could find 1 or 2 medical experts to typify what your case is.

I will continue to pray for you as I hope at least you can get piece of mind locating the cause of your illness. It's been going on for literally years, and the only thing I can think of is there's some trace element of a substance that passes quickly--therefore it's gone almost as soon as it irritates you.

I know a lot of people have IBS...more so now that we are sedentary in lifestyle, but your case is quite profound and seemingly insane.

I used to go to this fruit loop of a chiropractor in the Minneapple, and if you are in that redneck of the woods again, I'd recommend you check in with him. It seemed they prevented a kid from getting a kidney removal/transplant simply because some drug company induced doctor overlooked a very simple nerve issue.

Keep me posted, and we'll see what we come up with.

Just thought I would throw this out there for what it is worth..

when I was 17 I had exploratory surgery on my little baggie if you know what I mean. 2 years later, same thing..
I have had pain off and on for many years until I saw a cairopractor. One 'major' adjustment and I have been pain free for quite some time now. The cairopractor asked me if i had bladder or intestinal problems such as IBS or the like. I have not, but he said that was common with nerves being pinched in the lower back.

Bottom line, I never needed the surgeries, antibiotics, or prostate exams.. just a good lower back adjustment. If your brain can't communicate with your organs, they don't function properly, and sometimes a pinched nerve is painless, but the results can be problematic.

swez on 09/11/2007 17:22:28
Either way, it's a few days off and then go to Vegas. You know the drill and they know you, so all well with the world.
