Where is the best/easiest plce to get a 4 guage power lead through the firewall of a 2004 f150 Scab?

If you have the automatic transmission try looking in the floor for a sealed off hole where the clutch pedal would go.

This one is pretty easy to do as there is a rubber boot on the driver's side, below the electrical relay covers and such, under the wipers. if I recall correctly, there is large rubber plug in that area and you just need to ream it out large enough to run the cable in this grommet. Seal it against moisture afterwards with RTV type siclicone sealer.
