everything is hooked up properly and was working fine the next time i went to my car my sub wasn't working. i had a prob like this b4 but there was a red light on and i found it was a bad ground. i grounded it and the green light came on and it worked. now the green lights still on so its grrounded and everything but now my subs not playing. i tried hooking up another sub and it doesn't either. i checked all my wires like my rca's and all that and they're fine anyone think they might have a clue? thnx

The next diagnostic step is feeding the amp from a known good signal source. That often means hooking up a patch cable with RCA's plugs on one end and using a portable Walkman, I-Pod or MP3 via the headphone jack for output. If that works, then the wiring from HU to amp are next to look at.

If this does not work, the amp needs to be tested to make sure it is working properly. (An experienced Tech would be a good option for helping you through this one)

The amp failed and was returned. He's using a backup amp until the new one comes in.

This was one post that was also erased.
