Hey guys, thanks for all the help uve given but ive got another problem. a friend of mines bought an aftermarket radio for his 01 impala, tried hookin it up but the aftermarket radio wont turn on, and now the stock radio wont turn on either. lemme kno if u guys need any more info, thanks again

Did you end up installing the aftermarket unit, or reinstalling the factory head unit?

aftermarket. i was kinda concerned after hearing all the horror stories about impala installs. these radios have maintainance indicators in em and it seems to confuse things a bit, but with the $110 wiring harness in hand it turned out pretty good
