Going to have to sweat like hell tomorrow(100+ as usual) morning to put it in the car but it is comming out perty nice if I do say so myself. I'll be up at the butcrack in order to take advantage of the few hours of only really hot weather before it goes to "africa kinda hot, tarzan couln't take this kinda hot!".

I have a voltmeter that should match my amp meter to put in the dash to cure my boredom for next week comming in. But that will hopefully be after some kick panels, I need to get them in before I get that next amp hopefully shortly........

I love the comments on cardomain or here of what ya think!.

Looks very nice as usual ttocs! Like the way the amp power monitor fits in the dash pocket too.

That kind of heat just saps the life out of a body. If you've been checking the weather back home in IN, it's been a pretty brutal summer here in the Midwest this year too. The heat has been pretty tough, but now we have heat and humidity coming in. This is going to be one of those long, hot summers.

PS Keep a damp towel handy mang. It feels good to wear over the head on hot days.

it has not been too bad lately as it is our rainy season of sorts so it has been cloudy. As long as there is no sun 100 is not too bad.

Yesterday I made a trip to an electronics parts store and got a micro switch to turn the led's on in the consol. I am really happy with the way I was able to integrate it as you cannot even tell where it is. I'll post pics and would like to see if you guys can pick it out.

I jumped in at 6 am this morn to get started. Got the seat pulled, center consol, trimmed some stuff here, re-ran the power wire and ran the other wires I need and cut everything to length. I slapped the consol back in and then realized I had cut the wires a little too short and unfortunatly I don't have a wire stretcher. I could splice it in but I am not going through all this trouble to have it hacked up even where it cannot be seen. I'm gonna take a rest and then head out to get some more 4 awg.........

I am hoping the voltmeter I have comming will match the current meter fairly well, they are both blue.

Wire stretcher? What the heck is that? Is that in the same category as a "Sky Hook" or a "Purple People Eater"? LOL "Hey new guy... go get me the wire stretcher"...

Ehhem, I can see stretching the insulation cover, but braided wires tend to fracture when stretched. Neither is of any real benefit I can see... sillyboy! hehe

PS How's your gut been behaving of late? Any better...

YOU NEVER SEEN A WIRE STRETCHER?!?!?! It is in the shop right next to the 6 x 9 hole saw....

Yes that is an item to send the FNG out to get when it is slow and you are bored.

Sun is going down it the temp is down to 94, almost chilly here.... Glad I added those extra lights in the garage last year.

Actually, had to improvise one before.

1. Trap wire with a big foot
2. Grasp one end of wire in hands and pull like hell
3. Grasp other end of wire in hands and pull like hell

Results vary from brand to brand and wire gage used. Mostly the insulation stretches about 2 inches per 10 feet of cable. The cable length is about the same regardless. LOL

No wonder it's such a process to do 6x9 and 6x8 ovals... I don't have a hole saw for that size either. Mang, where did ya get yours?!?!?!?! Am stuck with the jig saw deal. hehe
