im trying to hook up a new amp and i know what the rem wire does is just need to know what its hooked to in the car.. can anyone help?

If you have an aftermarket radio, it will run to the + remote wire (normally blue) on the back of the HU . If you are still running stock, then you will need to wire up a relay to power it.
