no sound

i'm installing a kenwood dvd head unit in a 2004 gmc yukon with the bose system. i instslled a gm chime interface and a relay. i am not getting any sound. can anyone help???!!!!

yea, remote turn on, make sure that the power is going to it in full.

Not sure which model DVD player you have, but Crutchfield suggests the following adapter and install methods:

"Installation Details for your 2004 Yukon"

This vehicle is factory-equipped with an upgraded sound system. Crutch recommends that you purchase an adapter that maintains your factory door chimes (required for audible safety warnings), provides a switched 12-volt power source for your new radio. This allows continued use of OnStar features.

Note: This adapter requires that that new HU/player have both front and rear preamp outputs. Do not replace your factory radio without this adapter.
