The book says: SPL ported box - 7 cubic foot total volume for both subs Everyday - 5 cubic foot total volume both subs Sealed - 3 cubic foot total volume both subs I have a lanzar 4000 amplifier. I know i cant fit 5 cubic foot of box in the back of my truck. So im geussing my 2 choices would be a sealed or everyday. I need a slanted box that way i can have room in my truck. A square box I would be riding the dash. If you can help me please do. links to subs -http://www.audiobahn.com/Audiobahn06/pages/woofers.html link to amplifier - http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-LANZAR-4000-WATT-2-CHANNEL-CAR-STEREO-AMPLIFIER-AMP_W0QQitemZ270145140789QQihZ017QQcategoryZ39732QQcmdZViewItem thx any help is appreiciated!! Replies (2) 00frontier89 on 07/18/2007 01:10:19 O forgot to give my measurments of my cab. width = 48" Height = 26" ( could go more but wouldn't be able to see out of back glass) Depth = 15 jamesp on 07/19/2007 08:33:11 As an example for a 3ft³ sealed box you can get by with a box having internal dimentions like L= 24" H= 20" D=i2" This yields a box with 5760in³ so 5760in³ / 1728in³per ft³ =3.33ft³ Sub displacement and a little filler will put you right at 3ft³ You can go bigger, 5ft³ should be do-able if you want.
