i bought a 2600 watt amp for 2 12"digital audio subs. i had a 500 watt amp hooked up to 1 of them and it worked great. i changed to the 2600 watt amp and it wont work. i replaced all the wires with up to 4000 watt compatiable wires, and now it only works on mono but does not produce bass. its just like having the volume on 1 or 2 theres sounds but so low u cant hardly tell. the only thing i did not do is replace the battery terminal connector piece with the thicker one. HELP!!!! Replies (2) swez on 06/15/2007 06:34:47 "Everything is connected right"? Probably not... you nay have more work ahead as we don't have enough detail on your install. (That being the HU, Amp, Subs and cabling systems used) What is the make and model of your HU, new amp and these subs? Also, what is the fuse rating for this amp and the wire gage used to feed and ground it? Are you using RCA signal cables to feed audio into this amp or speaker taps? For us to help you figure this out, we'll need more information from you on the gear you have now and how things are connected. From there, we can probably get you moving in the right direction here.
