Engine noise?!?!?!?!?!

Wow. I can't believe it. Last two nights, there has been an engine whine coming from my system. I am Stumped, as this has happened twice, ans doesn't always do it. I just went out to the car 30 seconds ago and it is not doing it now.

My amps are grounded out to the same point as tey are both on the seat bolt. My H/u Is grounded to a huge piece of metal under the dash. My 4 channel amp cables have a piece of cable coming out of the deck side and are also grounded too. Basically, every measure possible has been taken to make sure that no noise is going to occur.

Should I:

Ground out the H/U to the same ground as the amps, possibly delete the 4 channel cable ground?

Buy another cheap *** ground loop isolator from wally world to fix a problem that occaisonally happens and has cheap looking RCA out coming from it, almost defeating the purpose of my great cables?

I am completely lost, as this only has happened twice, and I have taken plenty of measures to ensure my grounds are sturdy. As soon as I find the proper socket, I plan to recrape the ground for the amps, and double check the tightness.

Any suggestions???

are your power wires close to your RCAs?

and does the sound rise and fall with the RPMs of the car?

The power cables are pretty well isolated from the RCA's, but yes it does rise and fall I would go check on it some more right now, but it isnt soing it.

I laso noticed one of the 6.5's in the rear deck had a wire come loose, and I reconnected it. Maybe it touching metal was the problem. It was the ground end of the speaker wire.

Maybe I inadvertantly fixed it already. I will investigate further nonetheless.
