75mm xmech?????
=/
that seems a little excessive-
am i wrong?

the only reason i would bring it up is that its a sign of dishonesty which would make me skeptical.
but ive never heard of the brand

Look at their forum and see the pics folks have posted here. This looks like it could be a winner after all the bugs are worked out.

If you want a fart box woofer, go for it.

Ive heard them in person installed right and I was not impressed.

Sorry I'm not much into sugar coating things anymore. It could suit your tastes. Just wasnt my cup o tea.

There are those that are on the Peirce Audio band wagon, just like I push Fi, Si and Incriminator but in a heads up comparison with other woofers P.A just didnt keep up. Search 'The Great 12 Challenge' I think it was. I'm at work right now so I cant find the link, ill look for it when I get home.

Drew, Xmech is different than Xmax. X mech is the suspentions PEAK to PEAK capabilities (not linear). Xmax is the woofers travel while still being linear.

thats just a marketting gimmick of misleading the consumer into thinking it as 75mm Xmax....

something like this would be much better than what u have chosen for that price range....

( just a quick search from the link you posted... )

i understand the xmax and xmech differences, it just caught me off gaurd because my tc9s were i think 19xmax and 38xmech. so up in the 70s seemed out of place

Interesting comments the 30 Hz and no need to sugar coat your comments here either. If you think it's a garbage can product, have heard them before and all was done to specs... good nuff for me.

You'd think at $200.00 a pop, P.A. would be a decent contender? (Maybe not) SAD

and therein lies the reason(tho there are many) for why i come to this site for info and suggestions , no BS. kudos to you all! i figured this was gonna be a tough choice on picking a decent sub and the search is still on. my mind is still sorta swaying towards the blowthrough idea, but man what a comitment.again thanks to everyone ...oh... and dont forget about red friday...thanks Swez..thats really cool to promote this , i hope it catches on big. later all...

Me too on the Wear Red Fridays. Hey, it does not have to be a fancy thing either. A red ball cap, a red tee shirt, a red tie, (For those who have that dress code at work) and for those who are really into fashion statements, the skys the limit. Heck, even a pair of red tennis shoes are cool.

The point is, if someone asks why you are wearing RED each Friday... tell them that it's a "grass roots movement" to show support to our troops.

If we work in an office, shop or other public place and there's a bulletin board for others to glace as they grab a coffee, soda or what not, see if you can cut/paste a copy of the letter above and make others aware of the movement.

I brought it to CK b/c this forum has a very large readership list and is the largest traffic site I use on a regular basis. Am sure many of our readers have friends, family and workmates that have served. Feel free to do the same if others participate in other large forums and have a little clout there too.

May God bless this little band of folllowers as we spread the word on Red Fridays!!!
