| Speaker level inputsby ryanben Front Page * FAQ Forum * Archive Index Prev :: NextI have a kenwood amp that no longer has the speaker level input plug with the 8 wires that hooks up to my head unit. Does anyone know where I can get a new plug. I tried calling kenwoods parts dealers but no one can seem to find the item in their inventory. Is the plug universal? Can I go the the local stereo shop and pick one up? Please help!! Your 2nd option is using Line out convertors off the HU speaker leads. These convert high power audio signals to line level inputs that plug into the RCA jacks on your amp. Both methods will work... but the LOC route is generally quiter and offers a cleaner signal off the HU. Yes, there is additional cost and effort here, but this is how the Big Dawgs bark. Swez |
