Wiring Amp and Subs to stock radio

I just bought a 2006 Ford Fusion and Im moving my old amp and subs into it to move new stuff into my 99 Stang. I did not install my Stang but got all the wires out. I have the Ground, Remote, Red Battery and RCA wires. Am I missing something? Anyways, can someone help me with a walkthrough or site to install the amp and subs in the Fusion stock stereo. I can get to the back of the stereo but at a total loss when it comes to the wiring. I understand about the ground wire, the red battery wire just dont know what wires to slice or cut to connect the remote and the red and black RCA Connecters. If someone has a diagram or some instruction to do this, it would be much appreciated.

What make and model subs and amp are you planning to use in this project?

Also, does this Fusion have a Ford Premium sound package in it? (External amps for the speakers) JBL often provides premium OEM packages to some vehicles. Does your Focus have the JBL Premium Sound system installed? This matters as to how integration is done.

Alpine Amp with Comp Kickers

Its just a stock ford deck with 6 disc changer and MP3 player.

You have a few options here. Most amps offer high input signal options that use parallel taps from the rear speakers as input signal source. This feature will attenuate high signal voltages from the HU, down to usable levels the amp can manage.

The other option is to install a Line Out Convertor, (LOC) to the speaker lines at the HU. This converts speaker level signals to RCA Line levels that can plug right into the RCA inputs of any given amp. This is a bit more time consuming, added expense and more labor intensive, but often the best way to go for the best possible sound.

Something like these are often used:
