Do you have a link to these subs? I'd like to look at the power handling and enclosure spec recommendations on these subs. This one?

The JBL amp is a solid performer. However, to get the most power from it, we need a 2 ohm load. Here's the specs on this amp:

If you use only one sub, it will match well to the amp noted. The subs are rated at 400 Wrms/ea. Wiring both coils in parallel will give you a net 2 ohms and >600 Wrms to just one sub.

If you desire to run both subs with the JBL amp, you'll have to wire them in series/parallel for a net 4 ohms. This amp can deliver about 212 Wrms/sub @ 4 ohms. Not bad at all, but not to full potential of the subs mentioned either.

Which way do you want to go?

i want to get the best out of the amp and speakers. I saw that diagram for a 1 ohm load can i do this and keep both speakers. but if u think that seres/parallel is the best way to go then how do u hook up negative and positive trminals together.

This amp is not rated for 1 ohm loads and remain stable. Some folks do try it, but it's very hard on the amp and will often go into thermal protection or low ohmic protect modes at higher output levels.

The safest option here, wire each sub for 8 ohms, (Each coil in series) and then both subs in parallel to amp. It will work safely this way, but not the most efficient way to use this amp.

Your wiring will look like this:
