this was my trunk-

i got my deadner in and filled the package tray and doors and it made a good inprovement.

now- i took the glass piece out and used body filler to smooth it out and am now in the process of finishing it. also, i used the extra deadener to fill the backside of the glass.

considering the body of the car i should have majority of all the bass actually in the car rather than the trunk.

which i am ivery/i happy with. PROUD

school comp comming up next wednesday i hope to turn some heads. im new to the school and will definately get some attention

Looks like you been having fun building and all.....

Be carefull about trying to turn heads and attract attention! Even though your intentions are well meant, there are those who envy and will scope your stuff out for the taking. There's nothing nice about waking up and finding all your hard work gone!

yea its like the worst feeling in the world.....not because its gone but because it feels like you been raped.....well for me it does.

subs in pic are not the ones that ended up in the box, they are some Toxik Street 12s what ended up in there are some Almani beastly 12s. (but felt more like 13s)

Holy Cha-molies... this is one huge box!!! Nice carpentry work too. It'll take 3 guys to move it around and install it. LOL

How many cf per sub on this design?

A box of this magnitude would easily fetch $250 - 300.00 w/o subs when carpeted and all hardware fitted too.

LOL
yeah.........
i built it and it sounds good.
2 cuft per chamber tuned to 34hz.
i think it came to around 6cubes with the whole thing
it fit NICE into the back of the yukon
when i do it again- i'll make sure i get the $.

QUESTION
for the awesome CK guys!!!
i used the RE calcualtor and just doubled it for two chambers.
how accurate is their design??
thanx

Most box programs are fairly accurate with only a few minor variations in vent length. Suiting it to the to exact environment it applies to can be much complicated without other test equipment. I wouldn't worry much about it, as long as the performance is there and close to where you want it.

I've tried slot ports myself and to be honest, it is much easier to retune a regular round port after the box has been put together than a slot. Yet, the length sometimes can be a pain if it has to be quite long. Just listen to it and you probably won't have any worries.
