Help installing multiple amps

I just got a 12" MTX Thunder 6000 and an MTX 354 amp. I have the factory speaker hooked up to the factory amp but when I just pulled the amp out, I couldn't figure out how to bridge it with my new amp. It doesn't have an input or output just two set of cords. What do I have to do to install my new sub?

What do you want to do exactly . Pull the factory amp out? or use both the factory amp and the new amp? If you want to use both you will have to do some wiring modifcation. I think you could figure out your speakers that need the new amp and get a line out converter and then do a three way hook up and have the wire comming out the deck and going to the factory amp and the LOC . I have never done anything in a ford so wait for someone with knowledge but in theory it should work. and the LOC will give you your RCA outs to your amp.

I think you are getting your terms mixed up. "bridging" is when you take two outputs on an amp and combine them. You generally run one speaker(not always) with more power.

I am suprised that the '95 had an amp... Where was it, what was it pushing?

You may be able to get the sub system in order by tapping into the rear speakers (parallel wire outputs) to MTX amps' high signal inputs.

Then bridge the amp for max power and use the sub as is... 4 ohms.

If you get excess distortion from the amp, regardless of gain settings, may have to install LOC's off the rear speakers and go into your RCA inputs on the amp.
