I was really impressed. trunkisloud on 04/18/2007 23:43:40 is it a comp speaker or can you run it for daily use? im more interested in the other speaker as i have never seen one until tonight.. cplkittle on 04/19/2007 00:02:52 I guess it could be used as either. I have not heard the w12prs. 30Hertz on 04/19/2007 00:08:00 I havent heard it personally, but others that I've talked to either A. love them or B. hate them. The ones that hate them, have had mechanical failurs with them and the ones that love them havent lol trunkisloud on 04/19/2007 00:20:34 i have 2 ts-w306 12's in 3cft tuned at 30hz and they can take some abuse for some cheapies...which brings me to another question......how can you make a cd player stop skipping due to bass movement.? cplkittle on 04/19/2007 11:37:46 It depends on how it is mounted. If you are using the mounting kit that has the slide on each side that clips into place, there is not a whole lot you can do. Sometimes the kits screw into place.. in this case you can use rubber washers to absorb some of the vibration. The first thing I would do is to try to secure the back of the radio. You can try to use the big plastic cone shaped alignment/support tab from the back of the factory radio and attach it to the support screw on the aftermarket radio. Sometimes they line up close enough to the hole to support the back end. ShootuhMcBustaCap on 04/19/2007 16:16:47 CD skipping from bass movement? That has to suck! swez on 04/20/2007 07:35:33 The 15" SPL 5000 is a pretty robust sub and one of our readers has one hooked up to a pretty strong amp. He said it has taked a lot of abuse and hard use and still standing. (over 3 years now I believe) He said it still sounds off pretty well, but I don't have any details about the box used and am not sure how much power he is feeding it, but think he said over 1500 Wrms.
