Yo, wat up!!! It's been a while since I last logged in . See things are going very well here with some new "faces". I've been busy woking 11 hours per day, 6 days a week, plus, trying to juggle some consultations & installs in between. The Dayton Reference HO 10" is finally broken in and has turned out to be a very nice SQ subwoofer. Still in the .4ft^3 sealed, it plays perfectly well within the 4 door S10 Blazer environment. Bass is slightly heavy in the 40-60 hz, but pleasingly enough that no boost nor cut is needed on the EQ. I do find it demanding on the midbasses as they aren't maximized. Still, it is not overbearing and with it's very low distortion, could easily disappear into a decent front stage. The, next test would be a .6ft^3 vented enclosure tuned to about 29-30hz. Intricate slot venting would have to be used, but I think it's doable.
