so i been postin up tonight on here but i got another question. is it true that the kicker l5 is just an older model l7?? if not then whats the difference?? They were good, but Kicker soon found that the edges were not robust enough to handle SPL abuse. They modified the edge ribbing design and a few other changes later and that became the L7 series about 2 years later. The L5 is the little brother of the L7 series. They take less power and cost a bit less, but in many cases, adequate for those who don't need the extra watts and SPL to match. Both are fine choices for SPL bass applications.
