Hey guys, Any of you folks part of the millions of Midwest, Northeast power power grid failure this week? Man, make me really appreciate the things most of us all take for granted. No water here as water pumping station went down, no gas to pump, no lights, A/C and cannot cook in the micro or electric stove etc. We just cooked out on grills, used flashlights, candles & propane lanterns. Plenty of cool beer to ride it out. It was so dark in my area last night, could see stars I never see unless I am well out into the boonies. We just made a party of it, kicked up or battery powered radio. Hehe, should have seen me toddling out the garage to make hot coffee this morning. Had to boil water off the grill and then do a manual sieve routine to get coffee... man... gotta have have my coffee in the morning or I'm in a fog for hours. Ahhh COFFEE In all, a great adventure though. We got power back in about 20 hours here. Some are still off the grids.
