I have a 2 jl w6 is the jl 1000/1 the best amp for it and wht are some good highs to put with the jl 300/4

JL audio makes a 5x7 component kit, those would sound real good in a truck.

as far as rears go, you could do the same or just put some JL coaxials in there, won't really hear them so you don't need to put big money into the rears.

nice amps, though.

The JL 10 or 12" W6v2's are rated at 400 Wrms/sub. They can take 500 Wrms per sub for short durations, but that's getting close to the limit for these nice subs.

As for speakers, this truck sounds very good with Infinity 6x8" Comps in the front doors and 6x8" coaxials in the back with the amp mentioned. Look at the 2 or 4 ohm series Infinity's for this project. This will give a solid 75 watts RMS/channel to your speakers between 1.5-4.0 ohm speakers.
