One of my brothers freinds had an old skool orion like that, not the exact same of course, but they say they sare some of the stoutest old amps out there.

I installed them when they were new and wired them up to the latest pull out radio of the day.........
orion made some of the best high current old school amps ever but this line was not it. "The hot set up" was a lower end line that they made to sell out of best bu and a couple of other big box storesy. They were not the worst but i don't know that I would be lookin for a 10 yr old amp of that quality unless it was free.......

my fav of the old school amps was the phoenix m series. Load them up down to 1/2 an ohm and listen to them scream. I am still considering using an old set that is in my bosses stockroom if I can get him to part with them, m44 and a M100

i hear tales from my cousin about a us amp he had rated at 50w and he ran it at 1/2 ohm and got about 400 rms outta it....thats why i am lookin at all these older amps....id like to find an old orion hc225a or somethin like that
