Swez has been in sunny Florida for a couple of weeks. He is supposed to come home at the end of the month. Im going to try and call him today and see if he can stop by for a visit with me in Georgia on his way back.He sure helped me out a lot with my new system and install.

Hi guys, I'm just back from Florida and happlily ready to get back to CK'ers on their questions and such.
Left on the 15th of March and was pretty much a full 2 weeks of hard work and very little play. Yes, we did get a few hours of fishing in about 10 days ago, but got skunked on the sea trout in the backwaters at Jenkin's Creek. (Weekie Wachie, FL) SAD
Did not have internet access the whole time and had very little time for same anyway. Oh well... work came first and play time was optional. Wished I had more time to stop and visit Kit and JamesP, but on the schedule we were working with, it was not in the cards afterall.
Hope all is well with y'all...

Shoot... Yes, it's good to be back online, sleeping in my own bed and wondering what month it is now??? From what my computer tells me, it's Saturday, March 31, 2007.
Cool... that means Walleye/Steelhead fishing season is now upon us here in MI/OH and that's what I plan to do for the next few weeks. If all goes well, I can fill my freezer and have some great fish dinners for a long time to come.

Glad you had a safe trip. Sorry to hear you got skunked on the specks near the lovely Weekie Wachie Water Ballet location.
The pollen is falling so bad here right now that you cant fish in the river as the pollen catkins(tassle looking things) are covering the surface and your line every cast..Maybe by next week.

Yes, we noted heavy pollen on the cars in GA & TN too. Some looked like they ran through a powered dust storm and could not see out their windows well.
I would have loved to have stopped and met you and Kittle on the return trip, but alas... it was not to be.
Water levels here are near flood stages here now and more rain is predicted the next 2-3 days too. So, if we do get out this week, waters will be high, fast, cool and iffy for wading. We'll just wait things out and see how it all pans out.
