My cd player in my sport trac quit working a few weeks ago, so I got a new radio. It the factory radio from a 2005 sport trac. It has all the same plugs except one. When I plug in the new radio I don't have any sound. I thought it might be the plug that has no slot on the new radio so I plugged in my old radio just the power plug, no other plugs, and I had sound. Then I plugged in the new radio just the power plug still no sound. Any ideas on what is going on with this radio?

It sounds like one radio has a built in amplifier, and the other one does not. Do the radios look identical?
