might be gettin a loop from the ground, what type of noise is it making. it might be your fuel pump im not sure, but if you do move it make sure you get to bare metal and a tight connection.

Ditto! Read the FAQ on proper grounding techniques.

I'm not sure where you put your amp, but mine is behind the passenger seat. I have a 1987 Chevy S-10 Blazer. For my ground, which I havent been able to test yet, still making the temporary remote turn-on line to my amp till my kit comes in, and the temp box for one of my subs. But I drilled a hole just in front of the back right passenger seat and put a bolt and washer on it, had to remove the paint around it. I'm gonna find a nut to go on the other side soon. Where I drilled, there's nothing close to it, no fuel lines, exaust is on the other side of the right support frame.

The only other spot for me close to my amp was a seat bolt, that one is really horrible, right above the exaust, had paint all into the bolt and coke where the wire and frame connection would be... and the nut was painted too. So I just made a new one.

Yeah, that's probably a winner... just nut it down snug and bare metal on bottom side of floor pan is good too. I like the nylon insert type nuts as they do not come loose over time. Only thing, you may need a helper to install this nut. One guy on the bolt, the other below, on the nut and maybe a star washer too.

In fact, I would install the head from below and use 2 nuts... one to lock the bolt in firmly.. the other one for easy ground install and removal.
